Let myself be Thy, Let the victory be Thy
With permission and dandvat pranaam, I start my journey today to understand and interpret Waheguru Ji's Gurbaani. Maybe by doing this I would get mo close to him and some day I could also look forward to Nirvaana
Thir ghar baiso har jan pyare ,
The words "Thir Ghar" have been used as the reference to the inner levels of the aatmaan where its resides in peace and calm. Staying steady without any thoughts is the position of "thir" and the residing abode of the aatmaan is said to be "ghar". Aatmaan stays close to the Parmaatmaan, the holy lord himself, and hence the abode of aatmaan is with parmaatmaan. Its is said in this verse of gurbani to hold the thoughts and feeling together to go into the stage of stillness of the mind so that the aatmaan can go near parmaatmaan.
Satgur tumre kaaj savare,
Dear lord will solve all your problems, sort all your affairs and will fulfill all your prayers. "Satgur" as referred in this verse means the true spiritual teacher, only Parmaatmaan could be the true spiritual teacher but the form filled Parmaatmaan in his avataar would help us.
Dust doot parmesar maare
Jan ki paij rakhi kartare
Badsah saah sab vas kar dine
Amrit naam maharas pine
Nirbhao hoye bhajo bhagwaan
Saadh sangat mil kino daan
Saran pare prabh antarjaami
Nanak ot pakri
prabh soami
